Snowmobiler dies after crash near Utah-Wyoming border

EVANSTON, Wyoming — A man died after crashing his snowmobile in a remote area of the Uinta Mountains near the Utah-Wyoming border Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
Emergency crews and a medical helicopter responded to a report of a snowmobile crash near Whitney Road at Road Hollow, located in the mountains south of Evanston, Wyoming, and east of Oakley, Utah, Uinta County Fire and Ambulance officials told KSL.com.
Details of the crash were not immediately provided but officials said an adult male died from injuries suffered in the accident. The man’s name and age were not immediately released.
