Pope Francis delivers Easter message
ROME, Italy – Christians around the world are celebrating Easter to mark the resurrection of Jesus.
Pope Francis presided over Easter Mass at the Vatican before delivering his “Urbi Et Orbi” Message and blessing around the world.
Thousands gathered in St. Peter’s Square to hear him.
The Pope said he hopes dialogue will help the Korean Peninsula and advance harmony and peace throughout the region.
“May those who are directly responsible act with wisdom and discernment to promote the good of the Korean people and to build relationships of trust within the international community,” Pope Francis stated during his remarks.
He also urged people to remember victims of conflict suffering in Africa and the Middle East.
