BOISE — Head to the attic and dig out those cassette tapes from the ’80s and ’90s: New Kids On the Block are back.

The popular band of yesteryear announced Monday that they’re going back on tour and they’ll be visiting the Gem State.

Joining the New Kids will be Salt-N-Pepa, Tiffany, Debbie Gibson and Naughty By Nature.

The NKOTB Mixtape Tour runs next summer, and the group will make a stop in Boise on June 4 and Salt Lake City, Utah on June 6. Fan club pre-sale tickets will be sold starting Tuesday Oct. 9., and tickets for the public go on sale Oct. 12.

“We know that so many of you around the world are waiting for us to return to your city. We are planning and plotting and hope to make it to you soon,” the band posted on its website. “We can’t wait for this very special time to get crazy with all of you and make many new memories.

The band also announced a special deluxe anniversary edition of their hit album, “Hangin’ Tough” and premiered a new song, “80s Baby,” featuring Salt-N-Pepa, Naughty By Nature, Tiffany and Debbie Gibson.
