IDAHO FALLS – Construction crews are working to repair a gas leak at Wells Fargo near the Grand Teton Mall in Idaho Falls.

Kerry Hammon, a spokeswoman for the Idaho Falls Fire Department, tells EastIdahoNews.com construction crews hit a gas line while working in the area.

Two holes have been dug on each side to try and stop the leak. Wells Fargo has been evacuated and closed as a safety precaution.

No other businesses have been closed.

Crews estimate it will be about an hour until the leak is repaired. Until then, they are asking you to avoid the area.

Idaho Falls Fire Department and Intermountain Gas responded to the leak.

We will post more information when it is available.
