Woman arrested after trying to hit person with car, police say

POCATELLO — Police say a woman was arrested Monday night after trying to hit someone with her car.
Rebecca Jones, 32, was arrested for aggravated Battery and taken to the Bannock County Jail shortly after 8 p.m.
It started when officers responded to 2555 S. 2nd Avenue for a disturbance. During their investigation, police found that Jones tried to run over a victim with her car.
The victim was able to move out of the way and was uninjured.
