Juvenile flown to hospital after crash

The following is a news release from Idaho State Police.

On Nov. 27, at approximately 5:40 p.m., the Idaho State Police began investigating an injury crash at the intersection of US 30 and 3400 East, northwest of Kimberly.

Two minors were traveling northbound on 3400 East in a Nissan Sentra when the driver stopped at the stop sign but failed to yield to an oncoming vehicle. A 2018 Ford F 350 Pickup being driven eastbound on US30 then struck the side of the Nissan. The pickup was occupied by driver, Travis J. Lind, 20, of Declo, and passengers Harvey J. Lind, 56, of Declo, and Nikkolas R. Clark, 22, of Heyburn.

The driver of the Nissan Sentra was transported by air ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.

The roads were blocked for approximately two and a half hours.
