Local penguins get worldwide spotlight

IDAHO FALLS — You can now watch adorable local penguins all day, every day!
The African Penguin Cove at the Idaho Falls Zoo is being featured on EarthCam. Through EarthCam’s live webcam streaming service people all over the world can watch live as the Zoo’s penguins go about their day.
“We at the Idaho Falls Zoo are honored to be chosen by EarthCam to receive and utilize this amazing technology,” zoo education curator Sunny Katseanes said in a news release. “The camera allows us to share with the world our commitment to the high level of animal care and conservation efforts at the best little zoo in the west. The African penguins are an energetic, personable species at our zoo that you really can watch for hours!”
