Police investigating reports of gunshots in Idaho Falls

IDAHO FALLS — Police received several 911 calls early Friday morning from residents who said they heard gunshots around the area of Elm Street.
Bud Cranor, spokesman for the city of Idaho Falls, said the calls came in around 5:30 a.m. One caller reported they heard around three shots fired and another said they heard anywhere from five to six.
Police responded to the area and found no suspects or anything suspicious, Cranor says.
