The U.S. Census Bureau wants your help in 2020 and they’re willing to pay you

IDAHO FALLS – If you are looking for a good paying job in Idaho, the U.S. Census Bureau wants you.

The Census Bureau is targeting potential employees across the state to help with the 2020 census.

“We are hiring for a variety of temporary jobs, including census takers, recruiting assistants, office staff, and supervisory staff,” according to their website.

They are planning to open a temporary office in Boise next summer. That office will support at least 300 jobs in Idaho.

To apply, candidates must complete an online job application. The application includes assessment questions about your education, work, and other experience.The hiring process, which includes a background check, can take at least a few weeks.

The goal of the census is to count every man, woman and child living in the U.S.
