IDAHO FALLS — Students and staff members at Dora Erickson Elementary honored men and women of the armed forces at a celebratory Veteran’s Day assembly Monday afternoon.
The program began with a flag ceremony presented by a Cub Scout color guard. Several students were picked to read essays they had written for veterans. Members of every branch of the military were in attendance.
Students paid their respects to veterans through word and song. Here are pictures from the event.
