Woman rushed to hospital following crash on I-15

UPDATE

The following is an update from Idaho State Police:

On Tuesday, Nov. 6, at 7:50 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a two-vehicle, injury crash northbound I15 at milepost 68.6, in Pocatello.

Angela M. McDermott, 36, of Pocatello, was driving northbound on I15 in a 2004 Ford Taurus.

Steven R. Tobol, 52, of Ronan, Montana, was driving northbound on I15 in a 1995 Kenworth semi hauling two trailers.

McDermott veered into the right lane of travel impacting Tobol’s vehicle.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.

McDermott was transported by ground ambulance to Portneuf Regional Medical Center in Pocatello.

The northbound lanes were blocked for approximately two and a half hours.

POCATELLO — The northbound lanes of Interstate 15 are closed between exit 67 (US 30) and exit 69 (Clark Street) because of a crash.

Drivers are being detoured off the interstate and motorists should expect delays.

Details about the crash have not been released but EastIdahoNews.com will post updates when we receive them.
