Suspicious powder identified, officials say it poses no threat

The Pocatello Fire Department says the suspicious powder has been identified and poses no threat.
The package has been turned over to Pocatello Police for further investigation.
No further information has been released.
POCATELLO — Officials are on the scene of a reported suspicious package at Idaho State University.
Pocatello Police tell EastIdahoNews.com the call came in from the Public Safety Office on campus. They say a Pocatello Fire Department HAZMAT team along with the Pocatello Police Department have responded.
ISU sent out the following alert around 2 p.m. Monday:
“Report of a suspicious substance in the Pond Student Union Mail Center. Pocatello Fire and Police have responded. Please stay away from the area.”
