UPDATE: Police identify man killed on I-15 Friday morning

IDAHO FALLS — Idaho State Police have identified the man who was killed on Interstate 15 Friday morning.
The crash occurred around 8:45 a.m. in the northbound lane at milepost 117 between the Idaho Falls exits.
Police reports show Troy Higgins, 29, of Blackfoot, was traveling in a 2008 Chevrolet Express van. Higgins went off the right shoulder, flipped once and landed upright in the barrow pit, according to a news release.
Higgins was ejected from the vehicle and killed.
Part of the interstate was blocked for approximately three hours by emergency vehicles.
