Pet of the Week: Cooper

Hi! My name is Cooper. I may act shy and timid in my crate, but outside I promise I am a happy, joyful, energetic little dog.

I am 5 years old but that doesn’t mean I don’t need LOTS of Love and LOTS of training and I am only half House broken so I need to go out once every 2 hours so I learn the proper place to do my business.

I play rough so older kids would be the best option. I need to be the only dog and animal in my household for I LOVE to chase them and may get a little too rough with them.

Now I may like my food, but I LOVE yours so make sure to keep the garbage can out of my reach or I might go digging for dessert later.

Loud noises like thunder and fireworks scare me so please please please don’t leave me outside with them.

I need a medium sized fenced yard so I can run and play all day long with YOU. I love treats and toys so I need LOTS, and please don’t go near me when I’m eating. My doctor (vet) said I have food aggression (I call it protecting what’s mine) so I might snap at you so please let me eat in peace.

I only know how to sit and shake a paw but the K9 Academy here is teaching me new things and I want you to continue so I can learn LOTS of new tricks for treats. Now I am searching for my furever home, so if you are even the slightest bit interested in me (and meet all my needs) please please please ask an employee to get me out so we can PLAY PLAY PLAY!

My ideal home would be one with older kids (13 or older) where I can go on nice walks and playtimes to get my energy out. I need a schedule so I know what to do at what time. I need owners who are planning to train and be with me for the rest of my life. Is that YOU?
