IDAHO FALLS — Authorities have released a photo of a man who illegally entered a woman’s home early Sunday morning. Idaho Falls Police hope someone might know who the man is.

Police reports show at about 12:45 a.m. the unidentified man entered a home on the 200 block of Hill Street via an unlocked window on the second floor. Police spokeswoman Jessica Clement explained the man apparently climbed on top of a vehicle to access the window.

Nearby surveillance video captured the man who police believe entered the home.

A woman living in the home found the man in her kitchen and yelled at him to leave and that she was armed.

The man jumped back out the window and fled, Clements said.

Officers and Bonneville County Sheriff’s deputies searched the area, but did not locate the man. The suspect’s intentions are unknown, and nothing was stolen from the home.

Anyone who has knowledge of the man entering the home, his identity or other information is asked to contact the Idaho Falls Police Department at (208) 529-1200.
