UPDATE: Reward offered in jewelry store robbery case

Idaho Falls and Bonneville County Crime Stoppers has offered a $1,000 cash reward to anyone who can provide information that leads to the identification and arrest of the suspects.

Anyone who is recognizes the vehicle or the suspects from previously released photos and video, is asked to report the information to Crime Stoppers at www.ifcrime.org to be eligible for the reward.

Tipsters can remain anonymous and still be eligible for the reward. Tipsters who provide information to Crime Stoppers that leads to the successful identification and arrest of the suspects will receive a $1,000 cash reward. If the information requires an immediate police response to apprehend the suspects, tipsters are encouraged to report the info to Crime Stoppers AND contact IFPD Dispatch at (208) 529-1200 to ensure a successful arrest occurs.

IDAHO FALLS — Investigators believe they have images of the getaway car involved in the robbery of a jewelry store earlier this month.

Idaho Falls Police say the two robbers used a stun gun on an employee and fled with jewelry. They drove away in a blue color Honda CRV or similar vehicle after robbing Dons Jewelry and Repair on Dec. 10. Since the heist, investigators have been searching for the pair.

IFPD spokeswoman Jessica Clements says the new images of the suspected getaway car came from detectives’ continued investigation.

On Friday, authorities released a video of the two entering the store in hopes they would get new leads.

Police ask anyone who can recognize them from the video or photos to immediately contact the Idaho Falls Police Department at (208) 529-1200. Tips can also be given at Crime Stoppers at www.ifcrime.org.

“Tipsters who provide information to Crime Stoppers that leads to the successful identification and arrest of one or both of the suspects may be eligible for a cash reward,” Clements said.
