Man dies after crashing into northern Idaho ditch

The following is a news release from Idaho State Police.
On March 29, at approximately 5:03 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated a one-vehicle fatality crash at 2100 N Riley Creek Road. This is approximately 2 miles north of US2 on Riley Creek Road in Bonner County.
Michael A. Riggs, 34, of Zillah, Washington, was driving northbound on Riley Creek Road when he lost control while negotiating a right sweeping curve. Riggs’ vehicle turned broadside on the road before entering the ditch on the west side of the road and overturning into the water.
The investigation is ongoing.
