Life is hard, stressful, fast-paced and can sometimes be overwhelming. That’s why EastIdahoNews.com is partnering with MorningStar Senior Living of Idaho Falls to bring you Life Lessons.

We’re asking MorningStar residents to share gems of wisdom every Tuesday with us. Some of their answers will make you laugh, some may make you cry, some may even change your life.

Carol Dye is the mother of eight children. Two of them died within two years of each back in 1977 and 1978. One daughter was 17 when she went into cardiac arrest and passed away. Another daughter was killed in a car crash the next year at age 18.

Carol shares with us what she learned from the deaths of her children and how she is handling the passing of her husband, who died on Christmas 2020.
