Dena Morris
April 17th, 1957 - June 6th, 2026
Dena Morris, 69, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 6, 2026, at her home. She was under the care of Heritage Home Health and Hospice and her loving family.
Dena was born April 17, 1957, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Kenneth Morris and Carol Woods. She grew up and attended schools in Gooding and Boise, Idaho, and attended Borah High School.
Dena made her home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where she worked as a bus aide for District 91.
She enjoyed horse training, camping with family and friends, crocheting, and knitting. She was an artist. Dena loved cooking and baking. She knew how to cook!
Dena is survived by her daughter, Jamie Lubbers of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Tamara Morris; daughter, Heather Arave; sister, Lisa Kreizenbeck of Meridian, ID; and mother, Carol Story; and 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Morris; son, Thomas Howard Lubbers, II; brother, Doug Lance; and sister, Connie Sue Morris.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to services, with both visitations at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
