David Baker
February 24th, 1963 - July 4th, 2023
David Lynn Baker, 60, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 4, 2023, at his home.
David was born February 24, 1963, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to David Lynn Baker and Sharon Kaye Brewer Baker. He graduated from Bonneville High School. He also attended Washington State and received his Associates Degree.
David worked as an electrician for EITC.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed camping, the outdoors, animals, movies, video games, chess, and listening to music. His favorite holiday was the 4th of July.
David is survived by his daughter, Desere Lynn Shafer of Gillette, WY; son, Brandon Baker of Boise, ID; brothers, Christian Baker of San Mateo, CA and Lee Baker of Boise, ID; sister, Natalie Pauli of Idaho Falls, ID; step-father, Ritchie Parish of Idaho Falls, ID; and 5 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David Lynn Baker Sr. and Sharon Kaye Parish.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road in Ammon, Idaho. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery.
