Lloyd Adams Bingham – April 8, 1933 – February 11, 2025

Lloyd was born on April 8, 1933, to William Jefferson Bingham and Clara Emmarene Adams Bingham of Moore, Idaho. He was the eighth child in a family of 9.

The Bingham family enjoyed family reunions with camping, fishing and evenings around the campfire singing to the guitar and playing cards. They also enjoyed providing music for dancing and social activities.

Lloyd attended and graduated high school at Butte County High in Arco Idaho in 1951.

He met Jerry Fae Whitehead from Salmon Idaho at a Stake youth activity in Moore Idaho. They dated and were married on November 20th, 1952, in the Idaho Falls temple.

They started their married life together in a small trailer on the west side of Idaho Falls. They then moved to Moore Idaho and Lloyd built a house on the foundation of the old church. He later built another home south of Moore where he lived until after the death of his wife in 2016. He had a home built in Firth, Idaho in 2018 and lived there until his passing.

Lloyd worked for over 40 years at the Naval Reactor Facilities. He started as a laborer and finished his career as a manager over Radiological Control. He also had a small farm and raised animals to sell and to provide for his family. After retirement, he started a cabinet business and provided custom cabinets for many of the people in the Big Lost River and Little Lost River valleys. He helped several of his sons and daughters build their homes and furnish them with his beautiful cabinetry.

Lloyd and Jerry had six children, DeAnne (Larry Bevan), Craig Lloyd (Patti Metcalf), Chris W. (Pam Climer), Lynette (died as a baby), Lynda Jo (Rick Hooper), and Sharyn Fae (Rick Barchers).

Lloyd and Jerry were active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and they served together in many positions including bishop, full time missionaries, and temple workers.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jerry Fae, his siblings William Howard, Maurice Jesse, Reynold Lot, Wanda Irene, Loraine Rebecca, Eula Violet, and Lillian Hortence, and his daughters DeAnne and Lynette and grandson Eric Bevan.

He is survived by his brother Ray Dee, his sons, Craig Lloyd and Chris W., and his daughters Lynda Jo and Sharyn Fae, 32 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 15th, 2025, at the Moore Idaho Stake Center (3100 North 3350 West) at 2:00 pm. There will be a viewing and time for family starting at 1:00 pm. Burial will be at the Lost River Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Anderson Family Funeral Home.
