Marc Leonard
August 31st, 1954 - January 17th, 2024
Marc Gregory Leonard, 69, of Shelley, passed away January 17, 2024, at Idaho Falls Community Hospital.
Marc was born August 31, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan, to Alton Lewis Leonard and Carol Ruth Smith Leonard. He attended the University of Alaska Anchorage and graduated with his associates degree in Criminal Justice.
Marc was married and blessed with three children, Victoria Colleen, Angelica Marie, and Marc Augustus. He and his wife were later divorced.
He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He enjoyed being an Evangelical Pastor, serving those in the community. Marc lived a long life of military service for the United States. His service included, U.S. Army 1972-1975, U.S. Army Reserves 1975-1978, Alaska Air National Guard 1981-1983, and Air Force Reserves 1985.
Marc is survived by his son, Marc Augustus Adonga-Leonard of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Angelica Marie Eborn of Shelley, ID; brother, Terry (Dora) Robbins of MA; brother, Garth (Nancy) Leonard of CO; sister, Kathleen Rodegeb of NV; sister, Carla Leonard of IN; brother, Glenn (Randa) Leonard of NC; ex-wives, Neta Ann Adonga and Eva Kiyutelluk.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Carol Leonard; and daughter, Victoria Colleen Leonard.
Graveside services will be held 12 p.m Monday January 22, 2024, at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery (2651 Cromwell Ln, Blackfoot). Military honors will be performed. The family will visit with friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) prior to services.
