Obituary
Natalie Marie Strickland
September 4th, 1981 - December 25th, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Natalie Strickland, age 43, on December 25, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Natalie was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, known for her boundless love, creativity, and unshakeable spirit.
Born to Judy and Mickey McCafferty, Natalie grew up surrounded by love and laughter. She is survived by her devoted husband, Luke Strickland, and their four wonderful sons: Meric, Ely, Dryden, and Ryker. Natalie’s passion for motherhood was evident in everything she did-whether it was planning adventures for her boys or nurturing their unique qualities, she made sure they always knew how much they were loved.
Natalie is also survived by her siblings: Nicole McCafferty Wilson, Angela Jennings, and Mike McCafferty, who shared in her vibrant spirit and strong will. She was a deeply loyal friend to many, and her infectious enthusiasm for life left an impression on everyone she met.
A creative soul, Natalie found joy in many passions, including her love for Uprising, a medieval reenactment group where she poured her heart into creating intricate costumes and dresses. She also found joy in the art of baking, creating stunning and delicious cakes for family and friends, always with a personal touch that made each one special.
Above all, Natalie’s love for her kitties was a source of great comfort and joy. In her final days, her loyal companions never left her side, offering love and warmth through every challenge. Her bond with her pets was a reflection of the deep care and affection she extended to all those she loved.
Though her time with us was far too short, Natalie’s love for her family, her creativity, and her incredible strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed, but her legacy will forever remain in the memories she left behind.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date, and we will update all loved ones with details when arrangements are finalized.
