KID APPRECIATION DAY

  Published at

On July 23rd, Atomic Motor Raceway hosted a Kid Appreciation Day with Lainee Pond as the special guest and a special intermission airshow conducted by Joel Milloway and Ryan Leavitt. All kids under 14 were given a gift pack that included an Atomic Ant t-shirt, a race band and a checkered flag. They were also entered into drawings that gave them the chance to be an assistant flagger or trophy kid along the chance to be one of 10 kids who got to go to the top of the flag stand to release a balloon for the planes to pop while in the air. We also hold 50/50 drawings at the track each race night and donate half the pot to both Lainee Pond and the Bee Happy Movement/Dusty Bee, thanks to one special winner who donated her winnings to the Pond family, we raised over $500 in donations. The 50/50 is something that we will continue to do each race.
