It’s football playoff time, so plan accordingly.
Here’s this week’s schedule with some dates and times yet to be finalized.

6A

District 5-6 champion Rigby has a bye and is the No. 1 seed in the East. The Trojans would host a second-round game against the winner of Post Falls-Borah.

Madison is the second seed in the east and will host West No. 6 Capital on Friday at 7 p.m.

Highland, which was on the bubble and hoping for an at-large berth after losing at Madison on Friday, did indeed get in as the No. 11 at-large team and will play at Middleton at 7 p.m. on Friday.

5A

East Idaho is well represented in the playoff bracket with Skyline earning the No. 1 seed. The Grizzlies will play No. 16 Nampa on Friday at the ICCU Dome in Pocatello. Kickoff is 7 p.m.

Continuing with District 6, No. 2 Hillcrest begins its playoff quest against No. 15 Sandpoint. The Knights’ new stadium will host the game Friday at 7 p.m.

Blackfoot travels to Preston, which beat Pocatello to earn the conference berth, and has won four of its past five games.

Shelley and Bonneville are on the road. The Russets are at No. 3 Lakeland and the Bees are at No. 6 Vallivue. Both games are Friday at 7 p.m.

Despite its loss to Preston, Pocatello earned a No. 13 spot in the 5A bracket and will play at defending state champion and No. 4 Bishop Kelly. Kickoff is Friday at 7 p.m.

4A

Sugar-Salem hasn’t had a lot of experience bouncing back from a loss, let alone two straight, but the Diggers haven’t flinched since back-to-back losses in late September.

The Diggers enter the playoffs as the No. 1 seed in the 4A bracket and have a bye this week.

All four opening-round games feature east Idaho teams. Some dates and times are yet to be finalized.

No. 8 Snake River hosts No. 9 McCall-Donnelly. No. 12 Teton is Fruitland on Friday. Marsh Valley is at Buhl on Friday at 7 p.m. American Falls is at No. 6 Moscow.

3A

Who didn’t see this coming? The 3A bracket is loaded and arguably the most competitive among all the brackets.

So, here we go.

District 4-5 champion Declo has a bye. District 6 champion Firth has a bye.

Aberdeen will host Priest River at 3 p.m. Saturday. Malad travels to West Side Friday for a 7 p.m. kickoff. Ririe will host a playoff game for the first time when Marsing visits Friday at 6 p.m. North Fremont hosts West Jefferson.

2A

Butte County, defending state champion in the former 1A Division 1 classification, is the District 5-6 winner and has a first-round bye.

Grace travels to play Prairie.

1A

Continuing with 8-man brackets, Rockland earned a bye, while No. 11 Challis is at Dietrich on Friday at 7 p.m.

North Gem is No. 10 and will play at Tri-Valley at 4 p.m. Friday.
