Hillcrest’s Titan Larsen tabbed Player of the Year and Bonneville’s Hengel named Coach of the Year in 5A District 6

IDAHO FALLS — Hillcrest senior Titan Larsen was named 5A District 6 Player of the Year after helping lead the Knights to a fourth-straight state title game.

Larsen averaged 17.6 points and 5.2 rebounds per game and was among team leaders in field goal percentage, assists and blocks.

Cortland Hengel, in his first season as Bonneville head coach, led the Bees into the state tournament for the first time since 2017 and finished with a winning record for the first time since the 2016-17 season as Bonneville advanced to the third-place game at state.
