Bonneville highlights 5A District 6 All-Conference selections

EASTERN IDAHO – State champion Bonneville highlighted the 5A District 6 All-Conference baseball honors with junior Carter Bowen earning Player of the Year and Ryan Alexander tabbed as Coach of the Year after leading the Bees to a 14-1 conference record and finishing 28-4 overall.
Bowen hit .427, knocked in 41 runs, and slugged 0.674. He was among team leaders in on-base percentage (0.579), home runs (2), runs (38), hits (38), doubles (10) and triples (3).
He also pitched in 11 games and finished with a 2.27 earned run average and struck out 51 batters in 37 innings.
Bonneville pitcher Lincoln Stuart, infielders Greyson Martin and Coltan Spagnuolo, and outfielder Taye Lords were all named to the first-team list.
Blackfoot, which finished second in the regular season, earned six first-team All-Conference selections.
