EASTERN IDAHO – It was a busy Saturday around the area as North Fremont saw its win streak snapped, and Blackfoot got a walk-off from Emma McGuire in a conference win over Bonneville.

Pocatello’s Charlie Naylor struck out eight in a complete-game 1-0 shutout over Highland.

Here are the highlights from Saturday.

North Fremont 14, Declo 4

Morgan Green hit two doubles and drove in four runs, and Lexi Peebles tripled as the Huskies remained unbeaten after Saturday’s early game.

Peyton Lenz struck out seven for the win and also had two RBIs.

Blackfoot 11, Bonneville 10

The Broncos’ Emma McGuire hit a walk-off three-run homer in the bottom of the eighth in the conference matchup.

It was her second homer of the game as she finished with five RBIs for Blackfoot (8-4, 1-1).

Gracie Longhurst knocked in three runs for the Bees and Keeli Miller homered for the Bees (6-4, 1-1).

Marsh Valley 19, Century 2; Marsh Valley 7, Century 3

The Eagles put up 14 runs in the second inning of Game 1 to seal the win.

Catcher Jaynie Larsen hit a double and triple and finished with four RBIs.

Addie Stoor homered for Marsh Valley in Game 2 as the Eagles (6-9-1) snapped a four-game losing streak with the sweep.

Century dropped to 0-6.

Pocatello 15, Burley 2

The Thunder jumped out to an 11-1 lead and didn’t look back.

Adisyn Schmidtgall finished 2 for 3 with two RBIs and three runs scored, and Harley Baca drove in three runs.

Graycie Jollye and Piper Williams each had a pair of RBIs for Pocatello.

Pocatello 1, Highland 0

Pocatello’s Charlie Naylor struck out eight in a complete-game shutout.

Adisyn Schmidtgall doubled in the eventual game-winner in the fifth inning for the Thunder (9-2).

Cedar Lacey and Emery Walls each had two hits for Highland (8-4).

South Fremont 16, McCall-Donnelly 12

In a high-scoring game, the Cougars put the game away with nine runs in the bottom of the fourth.

Marley Miller hit two doubles and a triple and finished with three RBIs and three runs scored.

Leah Lehmann, Kaylie Dalling and Zuri Tavarez each had two RBIs.

South Fremont 6, Buhl 4

South Fremont scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth as the Cougars won two games Saturday to snap a two-game losing skid to improve to 7-8.

Leah Lehmann and Marley Miller each had two RBIs.

Kimberly 17, North Fremont 1

The Huskies suffered their first loss of the season as Kimberly pounded out 16 hits through four innings.

North Fremont (7-1) was held to four hits.

Harlee Cherry had the lone RBI.

Marsing 17, Salmon 7

Marsing started strong, taking a 15-2 lead after three innings.

Danielle Darrah finished 2 for 3 with three RBIs and Baylee Halle knocked in two runs for Salmon (3-5-1).

Sugar-Salem 6, McCall-Donnelly 4

The Diggers had an early lead but had to hold off McCall-Donnelly.

Sugar-Salem had just six hits, but the Diggers made the most of them as Lydia Hepworth, Seneca Bitter, Marlee Bartholick and Destinee Hanks each had RBIs.

Sugar-Salem 15, Buhl 7

The Diggers finished with 14 hits through four innings and put the game away with nine runs in the fourth.

Lydia Hepworth finished 3 for 4 with three RBIs, and Emery Green, Lyvia Pocock, Emily Harris and Hadley Chambers each knocked in two runs as the Diggers improved to 7-5.
