BOISE (Idaho Statesman) — Boise State men’s basketball’s all-time leading scorer has worked his way onto an NBA roster for the 2026-27 season.

The Toronto Raptors announced on Monday that they had signed Tyson Degenhart to their NBA roster. The 6-foot-8 power forward signed a one-year Exhibit 10 contract with the Raptors last year and spent the 2025-26 season with the Raptors’ G League affiliate, Raptors 905.

Degenhart will be eligible to compete for the Raptors as soon as their first preseason game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Oct. 10.

Degenhart spent all four years of his college career at Boise State and led the Broncos through one of their most successful spells in recent memory. During his time at Boise State from 2021 to 2025, the Broncos won the Mountain West regular season and tournament in 2021-22 and made three straight NCAA Tournament appearances from 2022 to 2024.

In his final season with Boise State, Degenhart broke the program’s all-time scoring record and ended his college career with 2,037 points. He also ranks first in program history in minutes played (4,446), second in games (138) and field goals (719), third in offensive rebounds (260), defensive rebounds (478) and made free throws (433), and fourth in field-goal percentage (51.8%).

During his first season with the Raptors 905 in the G League, Degenhart averaged 8.5 points, 3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 21 minutes in 50 games (nine starts). He shot 54.7% (164-for-300) from the field, 38.9% (44-for-113) from 3-point range and 71.1% (32-for-45) at the free-throw line.
