EASTERN IDAHO — Another full weekend of football finished with top teams further separating themselves from the others, while more state soccer spots were secured.

The Highland Rams and Hillcrest Knights have both clinched spots in the girls’ soccer state tournament with conference championships, with Marsh Valley, Preston, Sugar-Salem and Teton all in the hunt for the same. Additional state and state play-in spots are up for grabs between the 4A, 5A and 6A divisions in both the 5th and 6th Districts.

Thunder Ridge and Idaho Falls have locked up spots in the boys’ soccer state tournament, winning district crowns, with more spots available to remaining teams.
