Photo of the Week: Grays keep winning, All-Star teams from across state meet in Chubbuck

EASTERN IDAHO — The summer baseball season continued in Chubbuck over the weekend, with teams from across the state competing in the Battle of the Recs All-Star tournament at Cotant Park.

Teams from Malad dominated the tournament, winning the 10U and 15U divisions and finishing second in the 12U division, which was won by the host team from Chubbuck.

While that was going on at Cotant, the Gate City Grays returned to Halliwell Park, winning two of three home games over the weekend, after earning a victory over the Royals in Logan, Utah, on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the Idaho Falls Chukars have found some positive momentum, winning five of six games last week.
