State media poll: Rigby, West Side remain unanimous No. 1s, Madison falls despite a 3-0 start

EASTERN IDAHO — Rigby secured its place in the top spot in this week’s state media 6A poll with an impressive win over Syracuse (UT) to move to 3-0 on the season.

Despite improving to 3-0, Madison, which was tied for fifth in last week’s rankings, dropped out of the top five and Coeur d’Alene moved up two spots to No. 2.

Rigby plays at Coeur d’Alene on Oct. 1.

There were no other changes for local teams in 5A, 4A, or 3A as West Side remains the unanimous No. 1 in 3A.

Rockland, which has outscored opponents 137-14 in its two games, moved into the 1A poll at No. 5.
