Rockland, Preston remain at top of latest media poll; Declo joins them

EASTERN IDAHO — The Preston boys basketball team stayed perfect last week, earning massive wins over Minico, Highland and Blackfoot.

Now 7-0, following a 69-37 home victory over Spring Creek (NV) Thursday, Preston maintains its No. 1 spot in the latest 5A media poll — and is the only team to receive all nine first-place votes.

Declo, also 7-0, has leapfrogged conference foe West Side for the top spot in the 3A rankings while Rockland keeps a firm grip on the No. 1 position in 1A.
