EASTERN IDAHO — Local players claimed all three All-Tournament individual awards following the 4A state tournament. Bears, Diggers and Eagles also took eight of 15 available spots on three All-Tournament teams.
The Bear Lake Bears bounced back from a championship game loss to Sugar-Salem last year, beating the Diggers in a championship Saturday rematch to claim the banner. Now, all three District 5-6 participants in the tournament have had players selected among the tournament’s top performers.
