EASTERN IDAHO — High school football is in full swing, following Week 2 action that included 22 games involving local teams.

The Rigby Trojans improved to 3-0 against Utah opponents in the East Idaho Sports District 6 Game of the Week. The West Side Pirates stayed perfect with an impressive win over the South Fremont Cougars in our District 5 Game of the Week. And the Rockland Bulldogs put an emphatic beatdown on Dietrich to finish the annual Rocky Mountain Rumble.

As conference play goes, the Skyline Grizzlies (2-0, 2-0) knocked off the Century Diamondbacks (0-2, 0-2) and the Watersprings Warriors (1-1, 1-0) toppled the Sho-Ban Chiefs (0-1, 0-1).

Here are some of our favorite photos from last week’s football action.

Don’t forget to visit our public Facebook group, East Idaho News – Sports, to vote for your favorite — here. The winner, selected Wednesday at noon, will be our group’s header photo for the following week.
