(IDAHO FALLS) – In light of a looming government shutdown, Idaho Falls mayor Jared Fuhriman has declared April as “Fair Housing Month.” Fuhriman told Local News 8 that the city recognizes the importance of having safe, affordable housing for community members. Area housing coordinators say they will continue to help as many people as possible until funds run out.
