Preston Man Charged in Attempted Cop Murder

(PRESTON) – A Preston man is behind bars after firing a gun at police officers. 35-year-old Jacob Ray Johnson has been charged with two counts of first-degree attempted murder on a peace officer and two counts of injury to a child. Johnson shot five rounds at the officers while they responded to a disturbance call. The suspect is being held on a $1 million bond. Officers say alcohol was involved.
