INL Discusses Nuclear Waste Plan
Published at(IDAHO FALLS) – The Idaho National Laboratory could possibly be the home of Level C radioactive waste. INL officials discussed the issue at a public hearing last night in Idaho Falls. Gov. Butch Otter opposes the effort by the U.S. Department of Energy, citing concerns that storing the highly-radioactive material would be out of step with previous agreements. The final decision will be made by Congress.
