(POCATELLO) – A Pocatello woman is dead after an argument with her estranged husband. The victim has been identified as 41-year-old Judith Rachel Johnson. The victim’s husband, Michael Lane Sparks remains in critical condition at Portneuf Medical Center. Police say Sparks fled the scene after allegedly killing his wife and later rolled his car late Monday night. The suspect has not been formally charged with murder. Sparks had been ordered not to contact his wife after threatening her with a knife last month. Johnson leaves behind 2 children.
