Police Impersonator Appears in Court

(IDAHO FALLS) – An Idaho Falls teen who pretended to be a police officer in order to kidnap and rob his victims appeared in court yesterday. 18-year-old Damian Bird pleaded not guilty to six felony charges related to a string of incidents in Idaho Falls in March. If convicted, Bird could spend up to 50 years in prison and $180,000 in fines. A preliminary hearing has been set for July 11.
