110,000 Signatures Are Needed

(IDAHO FALLS) – Even after gathering the necessary 48,000 signatures to put an education reform referendum on the 2012 ballot, Idaho’s teacher’s union says it will keep seeking support until the June 1 deadline. The Recall Tom Luna campaign has until June 19 to gather enough signatures for an early election August 30. Organizers hope putting the issues to a public vote will be a better way to judge how Idahoans feel about the new laws. The recall campaign has three weeks to gather nearly 110,000 signatures.
