E. Idaho Horse Diagnosed with EHV-1

(BONNEVILLE COUNTY) – Animal health specialists have confirmed that a Bonneville County horse has tested positive for Equine Herpes Virus-1. KPVI reports that this is the first case of the deadly virus found in eastern Idaho. Six other cases have been confirmed in Blaine and Canyon Counties. The horse is currently under quarantine.
