(IDAHO FALLS) – An Bonneville County man was killed Saturday night when a falling tree crashed through his bedroom during a windstorm. 82-year-old Louis Carney had spent his entire life living in his century-old home along Pioneer Road. Family members say his wife of fifty years escaped injury when she’d gotten up to use the restroom shortly before the accident. Weather officials say winds were clocked at just under 50 miles per hour at the time.
