Idaho Soldiers Safe After Roadside Attack
(POCATELLO) – Two Idaho soldiers are safe after a roadside attack in Iraq. Specialist Chad Mitschelen and Sgt. Juan Montelongo, both of Pocatello suffered non-life-threatening injuries when their armored vehicle was hit by an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted inside a parked car. A Hawaiian soldier also involved in the ambush credits good training and the sturdiness of the armored vehicle for saving their lives.
