Man Killed in Plane Collision with Girlfriend

(ANCHORAGE, Alaska) – An Idaho woman has survived an accidental plane collision over the Alaska wilderness. 27-year-old Kristen Sprague of McCall crashed into another plane in mid-air about 400 miles west of Anchorage Friday. The pilot of the other plane, 24-year-old Scott Veal of Kenai, Alaska, did not survive the crash. Officials say the two pilots were dating and had plans to meet up in the air on their way to Bethel, Alaska.
