(YELLOWSTONE, N.P.) – More than 805,000 people visited Yellowstone National Park last month. Park officials say it’s the second-highest total for August in the park’s history. Yellowstone had a record-breaking 855,000 people visit the park during August 2010, but still about 100,000 less than the park’s busiest month in July.
