Rexburg Police Crack Down on Jaywalking Students

Local News 8 reports that the city has posted signs at crosswalks around the BYU-Idaho campus urging pedestrians not to jaywalk or text while crossing the street. Texting fines start at $50 and up, while jaywalkers face a $75 fine. Police say they’re doubling or even tripling fines for repeat offenders.
