(GRAND TETON, N.P.) – Summer visits to Grand Teton National Park dropped 2.7 percent this year. The park saw about 2.2 million visitors from May 1 to Sept. 30, about 60,000 less than in 2010. Park officials say inclement weather and a late spring thaw is likely to blame for the slight drop in numbers.
