Pocatello Police Investigate Infant Deaths

(POCATELLO) – Police in Pocatello are investigating the deaths of a set of 1-month old twins. Officials are unsure what caused the deaths of Gabriel and Tryce Medrano. The twins’ mother called 9-11 early Monday morning after discovering that the babies had stopped breathing. The twins were taken to Portneuf Medical Center, but died before arriving at the hospital. Police have not said whether charges will be filed. Bannock County Coroner Kim Quick said autopsies were planned.
