Firefighter Accidentally Hit

(ROBERTS) – 61-year-old volunteer firefighter Benjamin Preston was struck Tuesday morning by a police car in Roberts. The firefighter responded to an incident involving downed power lines when he was struck by the vehicle while flagging down the deputy. The officer gave the man immediate attention until the ambulance arrived. Preston is in stable condition.
